Earth Day release of ProSound News

April 22, 2008

Happy Earth Day everybody! Pick up or download your latest copy of ProSound News and read all about "Studios Going Solar", an article by Christopher Walsh. Evergroove, Monkeyclaus, and Legacy Recording Studios talk about the latest trend in gathering recording power straight from the sun (and through some wires and an inverter and a panel and some other stuff). Pretty groovy!

More Dessert anyone?

Early 2008

Just Desserts keep dishing up great tunes in the studio! This is going to be a GREAT album, guys. Mixing is just around the corner, so keep your eyes peeled later this year or early next year for a new delicious CD.

Sherrie Scott ... front and center!

Early 2008

Welcome back Eric!

Early 2008

Eric McLenan, front man for Switchgrass, will be coming in to record an experimental solo project the second weekend in December. This should be fun, especially if we can get some good weird sounds in there somewhere.

Evergroove Second Anniversary Party!!

August 16, 2008

It's never too early to plan the biggest bash of the year! Our date is still technically tentative, but go ahead and mark your calendars for a full day of music, fun, and food. We welcome back our Executive Chef Mark (he has us hunting for a smoker this time, but that is all we can say) and Sous Chef Vickie, and have a list of some great potential bands for this years line up. We have some other fun ideas brewing as well, and it's not just about beer... Keep checking back as the date gets closer and watch your email boxes for your very own invitation!

Green Grooves in black and white

April 2008

Evergoove Studio was featured as one of the few green powered businesses in the April 2008 "Green" Edition of the local business publication Mountain Connection. At the moment you can't access the article online, but copies are available from Genessee to Bailey, so pick up yours today if you didn't get it in your mail box, then pass it on to a friend! (Many super uber thanks to Chris Hanson for the photography!)

Skip Wilson skips into the studio

February 2008

Skip was in the studio last week to work on his latest demo. Unfortunately the "crud" kept our session short, but we hope to see Skip soon to finish out what he started.

Springdale Quartet - the demo is done!

February 2008

In one fell swoop, Boulder's Springdale Quartet recorded a live demo featuring several original tunes and a few covers. "Live from Evergroove Volume I" is at least partially available on their website. Have a great gig at the Fox guys and we hope to see you soon for Volume II!

Calling Dr. Aine McCarthy

February 2008

Not only is our studio great for tracking groovy tunes, we can do voiceovers too! Veterinarian Dr. Aine McCarthy recorded a few paragraphs filled with hard to pronounce medical terms recently, and did it with style.

King for A Day CD is complete!

February 2008

Denver's own King for a Day, a regular feature artist on 99.5 The Mountain's local's show, has completed their latest album at Evergroove! Check out and order "Songs from the Neon Boneyard" on their website. Congrats guys! What's that Simon? You want to track more tunes with us? Sure! Keep an eye out for their next session!

Greening Our Groove

December 2007

Evergroove Studio is proud to present ... SOLAR POWERED SOUND! RENEWABLE RECORDING! GREEN GROOVES! To our knowledge, we are the first solar powered recording studio currently in operation in Colorado. A series of 14 Suntech panels now grace the roof of the studio, connected to a Fronius DC/AC inverter, and hooked up to our electrical panel to provide 100% clean energy for our recording projects. Our estimate is that these solar panels will provide all of our power via a grid-tied solar credit system. We would like to thank Steve at Sun Spot Solar for installing our "solar system", and providing us and many other customers in the Front Range with this great resource. Check out our press release for more information.
